Overview
About Me
I grew up in suburban Massachusetts – something I find to be a strange phenomenon – and spent much time in Boston and New York City as a teenager. My father is an Ayurvedic practitioner so I grew up with ideas of how to take care of the body, mind, and spirit.
I have been traveling since I left University after my first year. Going forward I plan to study interdisciplinary art (ask me about it) in The Netherlands. I am especially interested in cultural trends, how they are affected by globalization, and the impact of this on indigenous society.
I believe education should mimic nature in a non-exclusive manner. Every single thought, thing, and topic relates to each other. Separating them stifles innovation, plus life is more fun and interesting with the freedom to explore everything at once.
I lived in the Panamanian rainforest for three months contributing to the development of a sustainable (negative carbon footprint) town.
Currently working on finding a balance between being idealist and wanting to "change the world" and simply observing and creating while sitting on my branch of life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I plan to explore the world as genuinely as I possibly can. I think staying with and getting to know the locals of each place I stop through is immensely more fulfilling than being closed off in a curated hotel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In Panama I worked out of the jungle and city, with local artists, to create Panama-made apparel featuring their artwork. Then, sold the shirts and donated part of the revenue to the preservation of endangered jaguars in Panama.
Rode a bicycle in India.
