About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To travel extensively and finish uni at the same time!
ABOUT ME
Well, I've got to say that I love a good laugh and I'm a person that aims to get along with all kinds of people. I'm a good listener and love listening to all kinds of stories - especially travel stories.
Currently, I'm studying to become a primary school teacher here in Western Australia. In 2010 onwards, I will be living in rural Western Australia and will have my own place so you can stay with me...if you're willing to experience the genuine outback Australia. Western Australia (WA) is the biggest state on the planet and there is so much to this great land that not many people know about. I love Australia and I love travelling just as much.
As I love to travel and being an Aussie uni student, I am constantly on the look out for cheap flights online. Friends usually ask me 'what is the cheapest flight to xxxx' and I will do an internet search for them to find out. My cheapest flight that I've paid for was $10 from Melbourne to Adelaide and the cheapest overseas flight I paid for was $100 from Perth to Kuala Lumpur. I have never got sick of airports or flying.
One of my goals for 2009 is to go the gym atleast four times a week. Yes that is a big call but I believe it's possible. I really enjoy a good workout.
PHILOSOPHY
Love God and love others.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Well I love networking and getting to know all kinds of people. Over the next few years, I aim to get to know people from Asia or who are staying in Asia so I can find out more about their culture and country.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I stayed with a man who operates his own ropes course in Singapore and is a volunteer soldier. I really enjoyed listening to his stories and had loads of wisdom to share. His passion for Singapore (and its downfalls) makes me want to visit Singapore and know alot more about it.

Music, Movies, and Books
Anything. I listen to the radio alot so I'm into what everyone else is listening too, but not really into that much indie or hard rock or weird genres.
I am currently reading (trying to) Lee Kuan Yew's memoires (he is the 'founding father' of Singapore and his book is as thick as a bible)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went to New York in 2002 a year after Sept 11. I had submitted an idea to the NY's mayor's office about an idea to commemorate the 1st year anniversary. My idea was mentioned in the NY Times and the media in Australia flew me over there to experience New York for real. Man! What an amazing time.
