Overview
About Me
I'm a good cook! Chatty, arty and inquisitive.
A positive person: usually smiling, always chatting to shop staff, and enjoying the weather even when it's pouring down. Enjoyable day job, great friends, big laugh, and a wonderful life partner.
PHILOSOPHY
Some things I try to live by:
Respecting the dignity of every human being.
Making best of every situation.
Opening conversation. Talking to my neighbours and people on the bus.
Learning. Or rather: un-learning. Seeing the world as a child sees.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have surfed and hosted a few times each way. All my experiences have been worthwhile.
I'm free to hang out some evenings, so if you'd like to meet up please send me a message.
Interests
Art galleries, theatre and dance, music concerts. A pile of DVDs from the library sitting on my shelf.
I take photographs - http://photographywithoutborders.org/
Visiting new cities, following my feet. Knowing a few beautiful buildings to visit and a place to eat cheap local food. But otherwise, getting lost. I would rather be lost than stuck in a map.
