About Me
they/them (nin/nim in german)
Hi, my name is Joshko. I spend most of my time with activism and political work but since some months I try to also take time for things that help me be mentally okay and time for things I just enjoy: playing the ukulele, drinking, cuddling, being in the forest, going to (pereferably queer) parties, live concerts, playing pen and paper,..:3
I have strong beliefs and values but I appreciate people questioning my views (as long as there's some common ground on basics. No tolerance for rightwing bullshit, Schwurbelei, Mackerei, white saviorism, Terfs, etc.). I am often serious (I mean we live in some fucked up society) but I definitely laugh a lot and would describe myself as a cheerful, chill person. :)
Okay that was a lot of buts and a lot of ())()(()). I feel like I do that a lot (lol).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am critical of many ways of travelling - Couchsurfing though is something I appreciate: getting in touch with people, moving out of one's comfort zone or into new comfort zones, and sharing:3. And it's (at least more or less) accessible despite financial background, so that's cool.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like almost any Genre: Punk, Techno, Folk, Metal, Indie, Soul, Jazz, Funky stuff, Hip Hop, R'n'B, Electro,..
Here's some artists I like, in no particular order:
Blackbird Raum, Sookee, Konny, Früchte des Zorns, Godford, Jinjer, System of a down, Korn, Femina, KeTeKalles, EDDI CIRCA, Rage against the machine, Elliott Smith, Käptn Peng, Bilderbuch, Knochenfabrik, Wizo, Opeth, Skinshape, KAMAUU, Black Pumas.
If you got some recommendations, Am always happy to get to know some new stuff. Especially punk and metal by women and queers, my agression coping playlists are filled with cis endo dudes.
Some good books in my opinion are (well definitely) Song of Ice and Fire, Dune, A Thousand Splendid Suns, A Wie B Und C, Girl, Woman, Other.
As for movies, I definitely recommend Call Me By Your Name if you haven't seen it yet. Shows, hm what I can think of right now is Tuca and Bertie, Game Of Thrones (duh), Orange Is The New Black and She-Ra (sparkle sparkle).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I often "rangel" with friends and I just love it. (Is that tussling in Englisch? Like in a loving way - and after consenting of course)
Teach, Learn, Share
Let's share stories as well as knowledge. About farming, linux/ open source/ free knowledge, food (especially vegan recipes), politics, history, postcolonialism&racism, society, economy, queerfeminism, social (in)justice, environment, intersectionality, activism, nonsense, whatever. :)
I'd love to work on my ukulele/guitar/drums skills - and also my skills at fixing/building/whatever.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My cooking skills, political views, some nerdy curiosity I carry in my heart. As a host: insight into two collectives (connected to agriculture) and a lot of activism stuff I guess.
