Hey! I’m Josh. I grew up in the Byron Bay Area but have spent much of the last decade living abroad and am now based in Bondi. I previously worked as a journalist and photographer and now work for an NGO. Throughout my travels, I had the pleasure of staying with so many wonderful humans and now that I'm settled in Bondi I look forward to paying it forward and offering my space to other travelers passing through. You must enjoy the company of dogs as I have a five year old border collie named Poppy, who is very loving and will force you to give her lots of cuddles.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I used Couchsurfing for a few years while I lived abroad. Now that I'm settled in Bondi, I want to pay it forward by offering my space to other travelers.

I will literally show interest in anything. However, my key interests would include politics, especially foreign affairs, history, social issues, environmental issues, literacy and anything to do with the outdoors, such as hiking, camping, snorkeling, surfing etc.

I have an extensive record collection, mostly 80s folk/rock and jazz and blues. Love modern folk music too. Good Will Hunting and Almost Famous and among my favourite films . And I have too many favourite books to list, which also means I have a decent library you can pinch books from.
