About Me
Writer and freelancer, living in NYC. Very friendly, open to new people and experiences. Also, they have my age wrong here on this here app! ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Well, I’ve been a couchsurfer without the app before, and I’ve had about 10 in my home over the past year—all of whom I knew previously.
Right now, I’m staying with a friend whose schedule is wholly unsuited for having guests, and I’m imposing by being here in a tiny apartment with no doors separating spaces. Even walking across the room wakes her up, and we both feel bad about the stress the situation is causing the others.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have diverse tastes, like most people who make a little effort nowadays, haha. Music taste ranges through showtimes, classical, jazz, pop, certain country artists, standards... classic rock. Movies, I’ll watch anything once but I’ll watch old favorites repeatedly: Clue, Poseidon Adventure, Wizard of Oz, Harry Potter, anything from Hitchcock’s golden age...
Books: I’m currently working on “What Happened” and “Dead Wake” But I forgot the books in NYC.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I’ve been lucky to have a lot of amazing experiences, as a New Yorker, a traveler, and a native Ohioan. But right now, I think the most amazing night that looms large was a night years ago, on the beach in CT, with a gigantic moon over a peaceful sea, feeling the peace and grandeur of it all for the first time. All I did was sit there and use my five senses, but it was a very special place.

What I Can Share with Hosts
Great stories, a laugh or two, perhaps a home cooked meal if they want one, and a desire to explore the city (together if they would like). Also, an invitation to my place in Midtown Manhattan when they visit NYC! :)
