About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see the world. To make music. And to just be.

ABOUT ME

I LOVE music, art, nature, and good conversations. I can play guitar, bass, drums, piano, ukulele and I teach all of those instruments to kids ages 4-16. Some of my other interests include, reading (mostly fiction and philosophy), hiking, yoga, collecting small instruments (playable ones like kazoos, jaw harps, etc.), TV and film.

PHILOSOPHY

I live for music and art. Those are the things that bring me the most joy out of life. I'm pretty free-spirited, I try not to pass judgement on people, and look past the ego. I think about everything (sometimes overthinking) and enjoy having meaningful conversations. I'm pretty optimistic and can almost always find light in a dark place.

Music, Movies, and Books

Musically, I grew up on rock n roll and blues. I also love jazz, classical, avant-garde, improvised, and some contemporary rock. I like films that are wacky, philosophical and films that are funny and light. I love cheesy b-movie horror films as well, The Evil Dead series probably being my favourite. I love fiction, notably, Stephen King, Neil Gaiman, as well some of the philosophy of Eckhart Tolle.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I paraglided off of a mountain in Switzerland.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach anyone about music, especially if they would like to learn how to play guitar. I enjoy learning new things, and I would love to learn about different cultures, different languages, and just listen to stories about past experiences.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Bahamas, Canada, Czech Republic, Dominican Republic, Germany, Haiti, Israel, Italy, Jamaica, Mexico, Netherlands, Switzerland, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
