Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm new to this, but looking to meet locals in the places I travel to.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My best couch surfing experience was when I lived in Korea. A Korean friend took me to her family's home in a rural southern province, and I had to the opportunity to sleep in a traditional Korean house (with an outhouse!), meet her parents, visit the family's Buddhist temple and the family tomb, and spend some time on their pepper farm. It gave me an experience of Korean culture that I couldn't have gotten any other way.
