About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To make love stay/never let beauty pass unnoticed
ABOUT ME
Having spent years in the relatively rough places where one had to really look to find it, I'd like to think my sensitivity to the good around us all has been turned up. Whether that mean appreciating the freedom to go where you like, the abundance of snacks all around us or simple greenery, every day is filled with chords of beauty. I never want to lose it and in my perfect world I never will.
I'm in flux after leaving what was supposed to be a lifelong career....I need to make sure the next step is the right step. Dr. Seuss fans might say I'm in the waiting place and on a cloudy day I might as well, but the boom bands are still passing through.
PHILOSOPHY
“Our lives are not as limited as we think they are; the world is a wonderfully weird place; consensual reality is significantly flawed; no institution can be trusted, but love does work; all things are possible; and we all could be happy and fulfilled if we only had the guts to be truly free and the wisdom to shrink our egos and quit taking ourselves so damn seriously.”
Tom Robbins
TR and Khalil Gibran speak to my soul. That and the sound of Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I live in downtown Savannah, GA in the historic district. My couch/air mattress will be open then and I'd be glad to show people around the city I've come to love.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
In 2008 I first surfed in NYC with Evan Walther and Miranda Siegel, the hosts of Playhouse 204. While there I met and traveled with people from all over the world, truly an amazing experience.
Hosting is still a relatively new thing for me, I am generally up for it but at the moment I navigate a roommates needs as well.
Interests
A shorter list would be what doesn't interest me. Doing laundry perhaps?
