Overview
About Me
I am intending to take a little break from couchsurfing, as I have a degree to focus on and a new puppy to look after. I may still accept the occasional one or two travellers for a night, so by all means feel free to send a request, but expect it is likely to be declined for now. Groups of three or more will not be accepted.
Englishman living in Scotland, I've been here a few years now but grew up & lived in in Devon before moving here. I used couchsurfing quite a lot of some of my earliest holidays when I was 19/20 and am finally in the position to be able to give back to the community and host some travellers myself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I use couch surfing whenever I'm on a budget or travelling solo as it's a fantastic way to meet people.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I went from no experience to having stayed all over Europe in one journey and used it several times since then. It's a great idea and some of my travels so far wouldn't have been possible without it.
Interests
I love the outdoors! find me a pretty view and give me a camera and I'm a happy man. I walk everywhere, and love to hike through anywhere scenic whatever the weather.
I love animals and have kept a huge variety of pets, at the moment I have a monitor lizard, and I'll soon be picking up a puppy! (Sep 24)

Music, Movies, and Books
Open to almost anything, but favourites have to be rock, indie, and some electronic.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiking Machu picchu: It's amazing, woke up at 4am and then me and 3 canadians who were with us hiked up the mountain to machu picchu along old inca trails, because we got there in the first 400 people that day we got a pass to go to huayna picchu on the next mountain which overlooks machu picchu so hiked up that mountain too. The path was at times death defying with sheer drops of hundreds of feet, but the scenery words cannot even describe how amazing it was especially in the morning sun.
