About Me

CURRENT MISSION

love, partnership, fatherhood, embodied expressiveness and other kinds of magic

ABOUT ME

i'm a sometimes frolicking, carefree, and often contemplative satyr...

(still true, although i chose those words a few years ago before some nicely grounding life changes transpired)

PHILOSOPHY

the middle way

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

my buddy hosted a very cool guy in the house we shared back in the day. that was my 1st experience, (2005 ???). then, i surfed a wonderful new friend's couch in CT, when i needed a place to stay for a project, which was great. and i guess i have met a couple other adventurous souls along the way through CS too.

Music, Movies, and Books

The Alchemist and Jitterbug Perfume, of course.
i just read a very interesting book by Daniel Pinchbeck about our apparently imminent global consciousness shift, and i am trying to participate.
Amit Goswami's "Self-aware Universe" is sounding pretty interesting so far.
You Must REad: "The Kin of Ata Are Waiting For You"
another book that has been offerring alot to my awareness and practice right now is called, "Engaging the Movement of Life" by Bonnie Gintis, DO.

Music?... if it is cooked with love, and a healthy dose of experience, I will probably dig it. Sound Tribe, Michael Franti, Bukem, The Slip and Moe. ...there are so many more.

Moe. and My Morning Jacket have been making me really feel it lately.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

each bridge-swing from the tairi river gorge railroad bridge near dunedin, NZ will live on as a most memorable thrill. i can't wait to encounter another beautiful and perfect bridge to swing just like it. i know it's out there, if anyone has a suggestion...? (that was a while ago, wow...)

the birth of my incredible, amazing daughter.

Teach, Learn, Share

i love sharing my passion for Osteopathy and for cultivating experiences and ideas involving embodied consciousness. i have always loved learning about everything.
