About Me

I'm a geology student at Youngstown State University, Eagle Scout, and pretty good with a hula hoop.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It is one of the best ways to travel the world while being cheap and safe. I also hope to host people whenever I get a place of my own.

Interests

I collect rocks and minerals wherever I go. Also, I enjoy reading or listening to music while laying out in my hammock.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite books include the Eragon books, Fight Club, Fahrenheit 451, American Psycho, A Clockwork Orange, Paradox (by Jim Al-Khalili), and The Grand Design (Stephen Hawking). I also enjoy the short stories of H.P. Lovecraft.
To list some of my favorite music: I like Death Grips, Bjork, Daft Punk, Xiu Xiu, Run the Jewels, Tom Waits, and Clipping, but there is much more.
Some of my favorite movies are anything by Mel Brooks, The Silence of the Lambs, Jurassic Park, Requiem for a Dream, No Country for Old Men, and There Will be Blood.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I backpacked throughout the stunning and beautiful Costa Rica for 6 weeks. I used couch surfing for the first night and then stayed at hostels for the rest of the time. I hiked several mountains, volcanoes, and trails. The Flutterby House in Uvita is one of the most fascinating places to spend time at. The people who stay there are amazing and nothing beats relaxing at the beach or one of the nearby waterfalls.
