About Me

*Note: Not accepting guests until December at the earliest, as we're moving! Thanks!*

I'm a freelance theatre and dance artist. I'm born and raised in Canada, but spent 3 years living in South Korea. Looking to travel more after being back in Canada for a number of years.

I'm open-minded, liberal, extroverted, out-going and respectful.

LGBTQ+ supporting and feminist-allied, anti-racist, concerned with social justice. Also totally interested in meeting and talking with people who don't share all of my views, very much into respectful diversity of opinion.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people and love to see a new place through not only my own wanderings, but through the eyes of locals. Couchsurfing also gives me the opportunity to travel more. As an independent artist, many trips would be out of my reach if I had to pay for an expensive hotel the entire time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My first day of my first real climbing trip in Thailand, I was chased off a cliff by a troop of about 50 monkeys before a tiny Thai woman in her 70s came out and scared them away for us big, tough, climbers. It was a funny day.

Teach, Learn, Share

Happy to take people climbing (provided they have/can rent gear for themselves), love to play music/sing with people, edit scripts, teach people about Shakespeare (or anything to do with acting). Not necessarily stuff that everyone is interested in learning/talking about, so also really good at knowing when to STFU about it.

Would love to learn more about local art and performance scenes, local history/art history.

I'm a writer so literally everyone's story is interesting to me, which is one of the reasons I'm on here!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook! I can sing/play guitar! I can write! I'm a great listener, and am often someone ppl come to for advice or support. I'm super fun to go out dancing with!
