I've enjoyed the hospitality of others many times in my life, and figure Couchsurfing is a good way to pay that forward to others. Also, it seems like a great way to meet people from all sorts of places and backgrounds!

Books- Many! To name five off the top of my head: GK Chesterton, Tolkien, John Steinbeck, Dostoyevsky, PG Wodehouse.
I enjoy many kinds of music, but most often listen to folk/Americana/bluegrass.
