Overview
About Me
Hi! I am a student at Western Illinois University where I am studying Accountancy. I have a huge passion for traveling and meeting new people. I love learning about ,and experiencing, new cultures. Despite the stereotypes surrounding my academic discipline, I am very laid back and open to trying new things.
In my free-time, I enjoy exercising/working out. I especially like to run, light weights, rock climb, and swim. I also love being outside/in nature.
I have taken four years of Spanish in primary school, and am comfortable with engaging in basic conversations in that language. However, I would love to become fluent one day. I know a little bit of French, but am not quite as proficient in that language yet.
I am relatively new with Couch Surfing, however, I have been abroad several times before. I have traveled to Ecuador, Mexico, and Iceland. I plan on traveling to Morocco, Spain, France, and Thailand during the Summer of 2019.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am Couchsurfing because I think it is a great way for solo travellers to meet new people and truly engage in another's culture.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In Ecuador, I went "puenting." Puenting, which comes from the Spanish word of puente (bridge), is jumping off of a bridge. It was thrilling to say the least.
What I Can Share with Hosts
In exchange for accommodations, I am more than willing to help out with small chores/tasks. I love listening to other people's stories and can share a few of my own.
