I grew up in Boston Massachusetts with a brother who is 10 years younger than me. Some of my favorite things to do growing up were snowboarding, sailing, swimming, and as I got older I got into stocks. I love to watch new markets develop and try to see how well I am at predicting there future, even with very limited resources. After graduating high school I moved to Lake Tahoe California to go to college and persue my passion for snowboarding. For two years I was studying business and outdoor adventure leadership. Much of my free time was spent snowboarding and rock climbing. Lake Tahoe has world class skiing and the olympics were held there, it was great to push myself and leave my comfort zone by trying harder things. I needed to take some time off of school so I moved down to LA to move in with childhood friends and work.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Im trying to meet locals and find out what they recommend. My best friend and I are going to Europe for three months. We are trying to squeeze in as much as possible without overloading ourselves. We are starting out in Spain, Portugal, France, and Italy. Then we are working our way up to Northern Europe for New Years in Amsterdam.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love biopics and documentaries. Some of my favorite movies are the Wolf of Wall Street, Gladiator, The Perfect Storm, Tag, Shawshank Redemption and 21. I also love the TV shows Homeland, The Man in the High Castle, Entourage, and Shark Tank. Some of my favorite music is Kid Kudi, Chance the Rapper, Francis and the lights, Khalid, Eminem, and the Rolling Stones.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have done some long road trips and been to well over half of the states in the United States. I've driven from Boston to California by myself in three days, twice actually. Along with also driving from the Canadian border in Washington to the Mexico boarder in San Diego. I have also recently driven from the southern tip of the United States in key west, up to Boston along the coast. When I was in San Diego I went skydiving and it was amazing. I have never felt more exhilarated or alive in my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

Some hobbies of mine that I enjoy sharing and teaching others are snowboarding, sailing, talking about current business events. I would love to learn about the culture, food, history, architecture, and geography of all the cities and regions I visit. Learning is one of my favorite things to do and I always crave more knowledge. I really want to see Europe with as much of a local perspective as possible. Exploring local markets, parks, and beaches is way more interesting to me than going to the big tourist traps or overrated places.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Things I can share with hosts are drinks, stories, laughs, music, and pictures of my past travels. I hope to gain more stories and laughs through out this trip to share with future hosts. I would love to make friends for a lifetime and have them visit me in California when I return.
