About Me

Very respectful and laid back personality, but also outgoing and always up for anything. Don't have trouble going up and talking to anybody, and I always try to say "yes" to new opportunities. You've got to get out of your comfort zone!!

All I really need is a floor to sleep on, anything better than that is luxury! Would love to hang out and spend time with you, but if you're too busy I am fine on my own.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet like-minded people and become more of a part of the places I go. I love hanging out with hosts/surfers as it really opens your eyes to new things, and I have made some great friends along the way.

Interests

Ice hockey is my thing, whether it's playing, watching, or talking. Also played baseball all my life. Biking, climbing, trying new beers, live music, hiking, discovering new music, making new friends, watching Friends...

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC
Such variety in the music I like. Bohemian Rhapsody would have to be my favorite song of all time. I have some pretty killer Spotify playlists.

BOOKS
I love Tolkien and have read The Hobbit as well as The Lord of the Rings. Also Sapiens and Homo Deus by Yuval Noah Harari.

MOVIES
Star Wars, any movie with Steve McQueen, and The Secret Life of Walter Mitty is also a good one that shares in my spirit for adventure. I watch a lot of movies, of course movies from Boston are always great: The Town, Good Will Hunting, The Departed, the list goes on and on...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went on a spontaneous 19 day backpacking trip from Amsterdam to Dublin hitting 6 countries along the way.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to learn about the food and drink of your country. I can share with you my stories and would love to hear yours!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Well my host in Sweden and I had an American vs. Swedish pancake competition. I think it ended in a draw, but the important part is we got to eat all of the pancakes.
