My name is Josh. I grew up on a farm in VA, spent my grade school years in Winston Salem, NC, then moved to Wilmington, NC shortly after high school. Here, I have been ever since. I manage a store at the mall full time, and work as an Ocean Rescue Life Guard during the summer, part-time. I am very hard to displease. I am quite independent but love to be in a social setting as well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think that the concept of couch-surfing is ingenious. Its an outstanding way to make new friends, while visiting new areas. Traveling can be a stress on its own, so knowing that you will have somewhere to stay, basically anywhere you are traveling to, is an extremely comforting feeling.

Interests

I love a lot of things!
-Music/LIVE Music/Music Festivals, I have been to Bonnaroo every Summer for the last 5 years.
-Art, theatre, movies.
-I enjoy nature and being outside. Anywhere from the beach to the mountains is a great place for me. I enjoy camping, hiking, swimming, kayaking, etc.
-I can treasure a quiet day, alone with a good book/magazines or I can be the life of a party in the very next moment.
-Thrifting is a fun time.
