I am a 27 year old male, fresh from Wisconsin. I HAD to escape those winters! I've done a lot but I've seen very little. I live to learn while I'm learning to live. I lead a fairly sheltered life growing up and I've spent the last 4 years really trying to discover what is out there.

I enjoy creating things. I like working with my hands. I'm always at home in a garden. I am learning how to knit.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I came to Florida with an arranged living situation. I saved some money, quit my job and flew out here.

I've been here about 3 weeks and my housing fell flat. I realized quickly that our agreed upon arrangement was too good to be true. Now I'm between places and fighting hard to stay in Orlando. I'm still looking for work out here but I will gladly compensate with handiness, cooking, cleaning and any other help I can offer.

Beyond that, I am looking to find new friends and tour guides here in the city. It's just me here and I don't really know anyone in the area.

Interests

I love the outdoors. I enjoy hiking, biking, swimming, fishing, canoeing. I read, I write, I sing in the shower. I cook, I clean and everything domestic in between. I like craft beers and a nice fine wine. If you tell me I can't, I will find a way to do anything.
