I'm 22 years old and currently living in Bristol in England but I'm originally from a little further south of the country where I grew up in the wide and open country/seaside of Devon. I've been studying music here in the city for the past 3 years and studied music along with philosophy, psychology and film a-level's at college back in Devon. Music is my central passion, I enjoy writing and playing music with anyone willing to jam and play gigs as often as possible with my band here in Bristol. I've recently decided to become vegetarian for ethical and nutritional reasons and I'm not a very picky eater, I'll try just about anything and I really enjoy to cook when I'm lucky enough to have the ingredients. When the weather is forgiving here in the UK I love to get out and walk, especially back on the beaches and in the woods and countryside of Devon; I have great a respect and interest in the delights of nature and wildlife and hope to take in as much as possible on my travels.

I've been in the british education system for far too long now and I find myself at a point in my life where I need to travel and meet new people. Couchsurfing is perfect for this because I can fully immerse myself with the local experiences by connecting with the people I stay with or eventually host in the future.

Musica, film e libri

I'm enthusiastic about a wide variety of music from different periods, genres and countries ranging from folk, blues and psychedelic rock through to hip-hop, techno and experimental music. My favourite artists currently include Kurt Vile, White Fence, Mac Demarco, Aphex Twin, Flying Lotus just to name a few but I'm constantly seeking out new music.
My favourite film is hard to pin down, but it might be One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest currently (it always changes). A movie I saw recently and loved is End Of The Tour, about writer David Foster Wallace.
The latest books that I've read are the non-fiction collection Consider The Lobster by David Foster Wallace and The Acid House by Irvine Welsh, a collection of short fiction; I'm hoping to finally get around to reading Brave New World by Aldous Huxley next.
