Overview
About Me
Hello! I'm an author and grad student spending my gap year in Missoula, MT. I've spent my life in the theatre as a director, actor, and writer. My Bachelor of Arts is in Theatre Studies and my Master of Arts is in Theatre and Performance Studies (History, Literature and Criticism). I'm drawn to other artists and dedicated to helping their visions find voice in a world where producing great art is increasingly difficult.
Respect is good, candor is awesome. There are no limits to what I will think and therefore what I will say: I want to meet people who feel there should be no boundaries in discussion and exchange of thought. Taboo is sexy. Say what you want. Feel anything without regret. Sound that barbaric yawp, comrade.
My published books have been in the field of antitheism and atheism. I'm also a bisexual voting for Bernie Sanders in the Democratic primary. That should be enough info to let you know if we will get along!
I want to hear your stories, get to know your life. If you say or think something that offends me: good. Better than being boring. If you're not comfortable around sexy people being sexy and intelligent people debating fiercely, it would likely be best for you to hit up another couchsurfer.

Music, Movies, and Books
I read everything I can, but since I've been writing and in grad school, my shelves have been dominated by nonfiction in politics, history, philosophy, and theatre.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spent time with Garrison Keillor in a hotel bar in DC.
Teach, Learn, Share
There's probably not a single situation in life that can't be explored via poetry. I'm equal opportunity believer in Shakespeare or pornography. I'm an acolyte of debate and an enthusiast of art and expression of all kinds, as well as a rational approach to history and morality. I'm complicated and sometimes contradictory that way, but it makes for interesting life experiences and for some damn good conversation.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Lively conversation, relaxed entertainment, walks through town. Do you smoke cigars? We can sit by the river and have one.
