About Me

I'm a chill and sociable person, passionate about life and what it holds in store for all of us! I don't want to live idly, monotonously, routinely; I want to travel and meet people that motivate me and teach me. I'm on a road of discovery.

I love sharing my life with others, and going out of my way to help someone or make them happy. I believe that selfishness isolates, but selflessness unites. This is one of the reasons I want to travel: I want to share what I have and know, while learning from the thousands of awesome people out there!

I love basically all sports and almost anything related to physical activity. Besides that, I enjoy playing, sharing, and listening to music, reading interesting books, and cooking. I love food! I don't have much experience cooking, but when I was a kid I wanted to be a chef, and I could make some BOMB spaghetti if I tried to!

I applaud you if you're still reading this, and if you are, I thank you for caring about who I am beyond my physical appearance and a few references. I hope we get to meet each other some time and share the ideas, the knowledge, the gifts, and the talents that have been given to us and that we have developed. And always remember: travel more, worry less!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My traveling life begins NOW!

My family has hosted couch surfers for several years now, and we've had amazing experiences with travelers. I love the community and the family-like atmosphere of it. I love meeting new people, going new places, and making memories. I think Couchsurfing is one of the best ways to do this!

I also want to be a guest worth remembering. I want to leave an impact on my hosts, just like my guests have impacted me in the past. I believe Couchsurfing is far more than a free place to stay; it is the opportunity to share the kindness and goodness of our hearts with strangers, it is the chance to go out of our comfort zone and LIVE.

Music, Movies, and Books

So much music has something worth appreciating, but the music I listen to depends on my mood and who I'm around. In general, I like classical music, some alternative, indie rock, chorale, pop, jazz, and salsa.

Forrest Gump, V for Vendetta, Marvel movies, LOTR, Shrek, The Last Samurai, The Physician, Disney throwbacks, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I walked the Camino de Santiago in Spain

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach swimming, guitar, piano, saxophone, or tennis, and I can also help people practice their Spanish or English.

I am learning portuguese and I'm hoping to have someone to talk to and practice. I love sports and music, so it would be awesome to develop some new skills. I've also realized that I really enjoy cooking. It would be great to learn new recipes and how to make ethnic traditional foods.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share many smiles, laughs, and good times, but as far as physical gifts, I could cook a traditional Colombian meal, or I could tune your piano if I have my equipment with me.
