Love to learn new things, and that's why I love to travel, and to meet other travelers. Lately I spend most of my free time on my bike, kayaking, or planning dungeons and dragons campaigns for my group. haha

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

All of my best experiences traveling have been from volunteering and staying with people through Work Away and Couchsurfing. I love the community and the stories. I'm on here primarily as a traveler right now, because I'm living with my parents, but I'm excited to be a host once I'm in my own place again.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: This is always the most difficult question for me. Lately I've been listening to Dr. Dog, Leon Bridges, J. Cole, Sylvan Esso. It's a little all over.

Movies: I love many movies, but my all time and sentimental favorite is The Princess Bride.

Books: East of Eden, Siddhartha, The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao, The Sellout, The Sympathizer, Everything is Illuminated, Eating Animals, The Prophet.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

With about 20 other volunteers, I helped build a three bedroom house in five days.

I can cook tasty vegetarian food for you.
I love to learn other languages, and it's a very important aspect of travel for me. Whatever language you know, it's amazing for me to learn even just a few words and phrases.
I will always do my best to share my time with you.

What I Can Share with Hosts

With hosts I can always share my time. If your busy, I'm happy to do my own thing, and if you have time to hang out or show me around, I will make it a priority. I am also happy to share the cost of a dinner if we cook together. :)
