My name is Josh Powers. I'm a conductor/locomotive engineer for a small railway in northern Ontario. Ice been all over Canada and the states but I'd love to travel the world. I like to play fiddle, listen to music, read, rock climb, cook, hike, drink beer, watch movies check out new places, go to museums the list goes on. I'm pretty easy going.

For music I love anything folky especially with violins and accordions. I grew up on Irish and (canadian) east coast music. I also love punk rock, bluegrass, folk punk or anything heavy with acoustic or folky instruments.

I love fiction and comedy some of my favorite writers are Douglas Adams, Tom Robins, Christopher Moore, Charles Bukowski, Farley Mowat, kurt Vonnegut, Chuck Palahniuk, Irving Welsh name a few.
Hmmm movies are tough there are way too many good ones to name just a few. I love most campy Horrors. Anything by Troma. Fury road was the best one I've seen recently, trainspotting is a classic, V for Vendetta was awesome but my favorite is Cannibal the musical.

I used to do a lot of hitchhiking and train hopping around Canada when I was a teenager. I've been all over my own continent but I think now it's time to check out other contents and see what other countries have to offer :)
