Overview
About Me
hello,
my name is Joshua and I live in Berlin. I want to see the world and most of all many different people and cultures. I would like to travel without flying as I read about it in a book. I really like the idea of having the full experience when traveling from one place to another.
First I got to take care of my studies and play some more football (I have been mostly injured for the last two years and want to get fit and show some action before I go). I am also coach of a youth team in my club for the foreseeable future so it could take a few more years before I am ready to go (exception is my half-year-study in Lund (SVE) next year).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
i will be studying abroad next year and I am currently looking for a place to live. I want to get to know people and their way of life and I think that's the best opportunity.

Music, Movies, and Books
I read a book about a man traveling South America, Asia and Australia starting in Germany with nothing more than a backpack and 50€ and zero flights. he is kind and ready to help so people quickly opened up to him and he always relied on fate showing him the way. That is why he inspires me to do the same.
I am listening to many kinds of music. I like Spanish music, some electronic and French music too. I have also been a fan of the German band seeed for a long time.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I made a trip to Dresden (GER) this year and visited a piano exhibition of the famous piano builder Carl Bechstein. I got into talking to a man who was working there because I went to school that's called Carl-Bechstein-Gymnasium (Highschool) and he got really interested as he is an expert about the man and had never heard of a school being named after him. I asked if he could the piano and he took me to a small but very nice concert hall next to the exhibition and started playing like a professional. He was even showing me music that he made himself and it was just amazing.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would like to learn how to play the piano, it sounds really good. I have been playing the guitar for about 5 years so I could teach you some skills. I can also teach you how to juggle, trust me, it is not as hard as it looks.
What I Can Share with Hosts
a happy mood. i could offer German and Spanish language skills and I can cook some fine meals;)
