Resumen
Sobre mí
I'm an avid naturalist, scientist, teacher and athlete. I love my job and Tucson, where I currently live! When I'm not at my desk I'm probably hiking, camping, kayaking, brunching, playing a sport (especially soccer!) , enjoying craft beer, or sleeping. That list is not exhaustive or mutually exclusive ;)
I'm currently traveling through Europe and won't be back in Tucson until August 15th so I can't host anyone until then, sorry.

Algo increíble que he hecho
I brewed an amazing chocolate porter once - everyone loved it and thus it ran out very quickly. I have not been able to repeat it since :(
Enseña, aprende, comparte
I love meeting new people and sharing ideas. If you like I can tell you all about plants; why they are so cool and important to everyone and how they communicate with each other!
Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones
I'm originally from Germany (born and raised for 8 years), have gone back a couple times and still speak German fluently.
I was an avid tennis player, and although my aspiring professional career was shortened by an injury I still play well and would love to teach you or just play depending on your level.
I brew my own beer and love exploring local craft breweries.
Did you know that plants communicate? Hedge their bets like a stockbroker on Wall street? Have behavior? Can be carnivores? Have trained us to serve them much longer than we've domesticated them? Are masters of shape shifting? Are part of ecological networks that are similar to Facebook? Let's grab a beer and I'll tell you all about it if you like.
