What's up guys ! My names Joshua Useldinger and I'm a 19 year old sponsored skateboarder and surfer from Santa Cruz , California. I grew up in probably the most stereotypical California kid family , my mom brought me to the beach every morning to surf , and in the afternoon my dad would brig me to the skatepark. And together my large family and I have probably pursued any outdoor passion.
This summer starting June 1st, I'm going on a Road trip to surprise my amazing 24 year oldsister who I haven't seen in 5 years . She's been living here working with YWAM as well as being a coach for the Qualifying series on the world surf tour . And on top of that my family and I will be suprising her with a plane ticket to my older brothers wedding (she doesn't know he's getting married !)
I'm starting my trip in Sydney on the 3rd of June and will be working my way up the coast till I surprise my sister on the Sunshine Coast on the 15th !! And from there we are gonna go on a surf road trip from the Sunshine Coast all the way back down to Sydney.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Growing up traveling has always been a big part of my family's life , and evidently enough so was couch surfing . Throughout the years growing up , my parents were constantly having different couch surfers stay at home in Santa Cruz. So when I started planning my trip to Australia, I figured it's my turn to see first hand what my parents lived about it so much !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Iv been fortunate to have such a full life at such a young age . Although I would say one of the most amazing things iv done in my life was road tripping from Canada all the way to Cabo San Lucas , Mexico with my 3 best friends when we were 17. Skating and surfing all across the way .

What I Can Share with Hosts

Although I am young , I'd like to think iv been living a pretty amazingly crazy life so far , and one of my favorite things to do is share those stories with those I meet . I'm extremely outgoing so I can't imagine I won't fit in anywhere I go haha . I grew up in a big family with 3 sisters and a brother , so I'm amazing around large groups and especially young groms .
