I'm an Australian who has been living in London since 2014. My time in the city is coming to a close, and with it I am looking forward to spending a part of the summer away from the city and the hectic pace that comes with it. I'm feeling motivated to meet new people, discover new places and to learn new ways of living and working. I have been working on a farm in the village of Treis Elies in the Troodos Mountains over the last three weeks and am now spending my last few days exploring Nicosia and other parts of Cyprus. Would love to get some local knowledge on this fascinating city and island.

Quitting my job teaching in Australia and spending 6 months backpacking South America was amazing - I met so many friends who I managed to connect with again when I made the move to London. Visiting them in every corner of Europe was the most amazing way to rekindle the connection made on the road and also see their homes, towns and environments with intimate eyes. Partly a reason I'm interested in couchsurfing - to meet all you wonderful people and how you live your lives.

I am a capable guitarist and can teach some (admittedly basic) fretboard skills. Also more than willing to help people with their English - I am a teacher by trade so have plenty of experience in this area.
