ABOUT ME
I am a fun-loving, joyful person most of the time! I like to take risks and live on the edge of adventure, but also like to be very much at home with people I know or take time to get to know those around me. I believe I have been put on this Earth for a very short period of time, and so I want to make the most of it by figuring out the reason why and what I can do to fulfill it.
PHILOSOPHY
Live every day to its greatest potential...

Interests
I am an avid lover of the outdoors, it is one of the places where I feel that I can connect with God the most! I also love to play soccer, mountain bike, snowboard, longboard, read the Bible, have meaningful conversations with friends, explore new things (travel, etc.), eat my mom's spaghetti (or just good food), sipping on wine, reading books, etc...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
There was a moment when I was backpacking in the Rocky Mountains in Colorado, USA, where I looked up and the stars were swirling all around me that I knew that I was created wit a purpose; a purpose to understand and appreciate the beauty that God has put into this world all around me (the stars, mountains, forest, fields, people,...), and that I was redeemed by His blood and made new in order for me to go and make other things new (love, passion, creativity, beauty,...)
The second time I was awestruck was recently when I was doing research for a class presentation in Intro to Conflict Studies. The presentation was on slavery/trafficking, and I learned that 50% of the world's chocolate comes from the Ivory Coast, with 90% (estimated) is from child/clave-labor. This realization has caused me to stop eating non-fair trade chocolate as much as I can bear. Also, I have decided to try to shop as fair trade as possible and try to ensure that anything I am buying that I do not absolutely need is fair trade.
Teach, Learn, Share
Well, I don't have too much to share after only twenty-three years of life, but what I do know is that this is not the end, but only the beginning of a story that was written before time by a God who desired to bring His children to Him- to know Him, to love Him, to enjoy Him for ever and ever in a world without pain or sorrow! This sounds like a sweet story to me, and I am pumped that I get to be a part of it! I hope you would join me in it as well... :)
