COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted a few Couch Surfers after hearing of friends' experiences hosting and traveling with CouchSurfing. It's been a great experience!

Interests

I have many interests, chief among them being travel and history/cultures. I enjoy being outside, reading, hanging out with my dog, cooking/eating, and learning.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived in a small town in the Japanese highlands for a year. While there, I would take a pre-dawn walk up a hill to join the priest at a Zen temple some mornings. Ringing the huge bell and hearing the tone reverberate throughout the dark valley below was pretty amazing.

Traveling to Iguazu Falls with a couple of friends and hearing, seeing, and feeling the powerful rush of water, while, at the same time watching hundreds of butterflies delicately float through the air was breathtaking.
