About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Getting to know the world

ABOUT ME

I am a young guy who Studies geography, and looks for some experience, which I believe you find by traveling. I am open to everything new, as long as it has some sort of fun, I am rahter silent than fractious and love to talk about politics, eventhough I did not study anything that way. When people come late to meetings, and even if it is just for 10min, I get upset. Of course in my freetime, I am a little more relaxed that way :)
I love good food, and have tried several kinds of stuff, my friends wouldnt even touch. But, whats the experience, if theres not a little risk?
Sport is one important aspect in my life, and thats why I usually travel by bike, or go hiking. In all sorts of ways, im full of energy, and excited to do something new.

PHILOSOPHY

You`ve got to be confident with your life, what youre doing should feel good for you. If thats hanging around at home all day long, thats cool. If thats traveling through the world for a while and meet cool people, thats AWESOME!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I now travel and am really looking for some couches to sleep on, while Im in southamerica. when i return home, ill try to offer the same as other people on my trip did offer me, a couch.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I first heard about couchsurfing sitting around a small fire( it was a gas cooker acutally:) with some french people I had met during my bike trip through France. At the campsite in Rennes, where camping was rather cheap, we got to know us better, and one of them told me, if i ever came to his town, Marseille, I could sleep at his place. Surprisingly that was not a personal invitation than moreover a request to join some network, called "couchsurfing".
Of course i checked it out when i returned home, and immediately liked the idea of people sharing experiences and the opportunity to see cool places without spending a ton of cash on hotels or other sleeping arrangements. So, me myself, i had not really gotten a chance to get some experience in couchsurfing, but as soon as my own place is able to keep some surfers, i will not be the one who misses it.
