Overview
About Me
I'm an American living in Copenhagen, DK. My apartment is currently under long-term renovation, so it's in a slight state of construction, but I can offer a couch, a shower, and laundry facilities if you can deal with a very 'bohemian' living arrangement. Write if you are in Copenhagen, I look forward to meeting you and hearing about your adventure :D
PHILOSOPHY
Life is a topsy-turvy journey that I have grown to expect surprises from. My only hope is that as time continues to unfold I will learn to overcome the most unsavory aspects of my person and blossom into the inspirational figure I know resides in all of us.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
WHY I'M HERE
I enjoy meeting new people and getting small glimpses into other cultures through our interactions.
Some of my best experiences travelling alone have also been the times that I've couchsurfed myself, so being a person who believes in paying it forward, I also offer accomodation at my apartment in Copenhagen.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Have CS'd in Austria and Italy, and had guests from all over the globe. I've hosted, in Copenhagen, guests from Australia, Germany, Korea, France, U.S.A., Italy and Spain. All occasions were fantastic!
Interests
People who are creative, ingenuous, and have seen their dreams through to fruition grab my attention first. I love having free flowing conversations with lots of tangents, being caught up in a moment, and jumping in head-first. If there's water, I'm probably swimming in it. If there's a hill, that's me running up it. If there's a joke (even a bad one), it is me laughing :)

Music, Movies, and Books
My music taste is broad. I enjoy jazz, electronic, classical, pop, r&b, rap, traditional, country and blues from all over the world and all eras. Emotional response and intellectual surprise are what delight me most.
Most recent books: "The Wave" - Susan Casey; "The First Bad Man" - Miranda July; "Incognito: The Secret Lives of the Brain" - Davis Eagleman
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sitting. Breathing. Being.
Surfing the waves off Jacksonville Beach,FL with a family of dolphins.
Viewing the setting sun as we rode in a car in Nevada on the way back to Colorado after a climbing trip outside of Las Vegas.
Living in a foreign country for 7 years.
Bicycling solo from Salzburg to Rome.
Bicycling solo down the west coast of India.
... and a million others, but those two where the first to pop in my head.
Teach, Learn, Share
I know it's sounds like an uninspired answer, but I mean it when I say everyone. I have never met a single person that I could not learn a lesson from. So, bring it on.
