About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to climb the highest mountain, so I can see how small the other ones look

ABOUT ME

Well I'm a Dane who is technically in the wrong end of the 20's, but has retained my inner child.
I'm gradually growing into a seasoned veteran in the couchsurfing enviroment and have only positive things to say about it! My motive for joining the coutchsurfing movement has been my love travelling and making freinds across borders. I've travelled across Australia and South America on my own and have been living in Ireland and Estonia. During some of these journeys I have made good use of the CS project and experienced things waay of the beaten track!

PHILOSOPHY

When you stand at a crossroad in your life always consider if you´re making a choice because it is convenient or because it is the right thing to do. Always choose the right thing over the convenient!
That way you kan keep pushing your personal limits and evolve. It may of course push you into uncomfortable situations at times, but these just help you evolve and regardless it is way better than not trying and having regrets later on.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I don't have the ideal facilities to take in a couchsurfers, but I have an extensive network so I might be able to organise something if you're in a pinch :) Alternatively I'm always very willing to meet for a dring or show you around places you normally wouldn't find in a guide book!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I Have used it to a large extend on my travells in South America, both for finding a place to stay and for meeting locals in new cities. I hope and intend to use it on future travels in Europe and the middle east

Interests

When I'm not studying, I enjoy good company, hanging out and cooking for my freinds. I run to stay fit and occasionally work out as well.

Music, Movies, and Books

Wow. Too many to mention and I also think it would be a bit pointless for me to start listing them. I have read a lot of the classics but also find myself to be a bit of a sucker for some of the lame mainstream books and films.
I love debating about books, film and music though and I am not afraid to expand my horizon and learn along the way. How about we just talk more about this subject when we meet face to face?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Must be the the 9 months I spend hitchhiking around the coast of Australia. the things I expirenced on that trip prob. changed me into the person I am today. I have also travelled around South America and lived with a family in the Jungle where we went hunting with blowpipes and ate all kinds of jungle animals and fruits.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I know every nook and cranny of Copenhagen and could most assuredly show you some places you wont find in your gudiebook. If you are interested in a bit of adventure, I would also love to take you out after dark to practice the noble art of dumpster diving (look it up if you don´t know it). I do quite a bit of wall - and rockclimbing and have also just started exercising pakour. I would be more than happy to take you out for either of these events.

Learn: I want to learn everything you could possibly teach me, but especially I am interested in further improving my Spanish, so if you speak this language then speaking it with me would be greatly appreciated! As mentioned I also just started doing Pakour, so I'm still fairly green on this area. So if you are experenced in this exercise, then I would LOVE if you could show me a few pointers so I could improve.
