ABOUT ME

Hello! My name is Josh Burr. I currently am a full-time student and study Accounting at Oswego State University of New York. I’m very outgoing and love new things. I’m good with people because people interest me. Everyone has a story and I love listening to them. I am pretty smart and learn quickly when I am interested in something. I love music. I play anything I get my hands on and I especially love the guitar. To sum it up I’m a happy guy and have found that almost everyone on couchsurfing is friendly, outgoing, and fun so welcome and I look forward to meeting you!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed all over Spain a few summer ago! To date it was one of the most incredible experiences of my life and I hope to continue the journey!

Interests

Any type of outdoor physical activity, hiking, swimming, mountain biking, etc.

I love listening to older peoples stories about all of the things they have done and learned

I love all music except hardcore metal and country but almost everything in between, alternative, techno, oldies I like them all. I definately like relaxing music but sometimes I listen to some really crazy stuff!

I play the acoustic guitar and drums and anything I just cant sing

I love learning new things. I like being out of my comfort zone because it forces me to developed and grow! This is why I love emerging myself in different cultures and living completely different then I usually do.

I like photography but am not a professional nor do I want to be. I just like capturing beautiful moments and places so I can share them with my friends. I love sitting down and looking at old photos and laughing and reminiscing about all the great times.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have seen the ball drop in N.Y.C. on New Years with the people I love it was truly amazing!

I couchsurfed all around Spain for an entire summer! It was crazy and awesome and changed my life!

Teach, Learn, Share

I have taught and still teach every one of my friends that communication is the savior of all problems. Whenever people have disagreements and are upset with one another it is usually because there is a misunderstanding. Simply talking and having empathy can usually resolve most problems.

Learn!? There is so much!! There are things that I don’t even know about yet that I will want to learn eventually! But for now, I am learning Portuguese and become a better speaker in Italian. I also want to become a great cook, learn how to fly a plane, learn how to surf, the list goes on! I will update the list tomorrow when I find ten more things I want to learn!
