About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To explore Deutschland, Österreich und der Schweiz.
ABOUT ME
I have wanted to travel ever since I was a little kid and finally I have the time and money to go exploring. I want to travel everywhere I can, to try new things and learn about places and things I never knew existed. I love to meet new people and think there is nothing better than finding someone who you can have a good conversation with.
I am a business student who has recently finished University, but I love learning anything and everything. Outside of my degree I've done units in psychology, law, linguistics, anthropology, statistics and French. My favourite though has been my IT studies: I love working with computers and find them brilliantly fascinating.
I am the type of person who will try anything once, a bit of a thrillseeker. I have been skydiving, hang-gliding, parasailing, bungy jumping. I ride a motorcycle and I love going rock/cliff climbing in my spare time. I am never one to turn down an impromptu adventure.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe that the measure of a good life is one filled with rich and varied experiences. I love learning and always want to be improving myself. Learning new skills like languages or riding a motorcycle can open up doors and let you do things you never could have otherwise.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
While couchsurfing earlier this year, I found the best way I could give back to all the amazing people who were showing me their cities was to always make it my goal to show them at least one experience or sight that they had never seen before.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I couchsurfed for the first time in July/August through France & the Netherlands before settling in Denmark, and it was an incredible adventure. Being truly immersed in culture and language is a challenging but rewarding experience. I still keep in touch with friends I made from Amsterdam to Marseille and will visit them again soon!

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite book is the Count of Monte Cristo, my favourite band at the moment (it changes) is Australian band The Rubens, and my favourite movie is Cloud Atlas.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My greatest travel moment so far has been kayaking a two-person kayak on Lake Manapouri on the South island of New Zealand. We were totally alone and free to do as we pleased, surrounded by pristine forest and beautiful mountains.
Teach, Learn, Share
I know basic Danish and French from my travels, and am just starting to pick up German.
I also have a love of camping and the outdoors so there are plenty of survival/fieldcraft skills I could pass on to someone similarly minded.
Countries I’ve Visited
Belgium, France, Netherlands, New Zealand, Switzerland, Thailand
