Taught a group of six-year-olds about knots by making them into a big loop holding hands, weaving them through each other to tie a knot, then letting them figure out how to untie themselves.

I'm into musical instruments too, the weirder the better. Singing bowls and mouth harps and two-stringed gourds but especially brass. If you have a horn I will invariably ask to play it. Let's make some music!
