ABOUT ME

Born in Traverse City, Michigan. I hadn't travelled outside America until 2008(age 23) when I moved to South Korea. I don't really know how to talk about myself much, I'm more of a Q/A kind of person when it comes to me :)My biggest passions though are Hockey, Films, Friends and Family, and Traveling. I'm doing my best to learn Korean but the fact that everyone just wants to speak English to me is making it hard to practice :)

My purpose in life is to gain as much experience as possible and learn as much about the world as I can before I die.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have surfed a few times...once after being robbed in HaiPhang(spelling) and then in Saigon twice. I've had about a dozen surfers stay with me in South Korea. I hope to help people explore new cultures and gain new experiences as I hope others would do for me :)

CS has been great so far. I met so many friends in Vietnam and I hope to do the same in Korea.

Interests

I have loads of interests...my big one is films. I love films. I'm hooked on Indies/Korean/B grade cheesy movies/International films/and controversial documentaries.

I got into motorcycles when I came to Korea and I love riding around. I got into the Saigon motorbike experience a bit too...super crazy.

I love hockey...I am able to have a piece of home here in korea as I can play twice a week with some expats and Hockey lovin Koreans.

I enjoy reading a lot too, but not novels. I prefer the films :) But what I do enjoy are books about history, culture, and science.
