About Me

Pretty calm and relaxed. I enjoy people, their histories and the life events and cultures that have shaped them. Also. . . I love food!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've done a lot of unofficial couch surfing all over California, visiting friends, friends of friends and the like. I've also had many people surf my own couch, although not from a site. I suppose the most regionally exotic surfers have come to my place from Australia and Ireland.

I also couch surfed Portland for a while when I was first getting to know it. Met a lot of really great people who have become good friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Explosions in the Sky, Alexi Murdock, Andrew Bird, Head and the Heart, Jars of Clay, Ben Howard, The Killers, Sufjan Stevens, Of Monsters and Men, Airborne Toxic Event, Cut Copy to name a couple.

As far as books there are simply too many, but here's an attempt at some that have deeply affected me: Anything written by poets: H.D., Yeats, T.S. Elliot and Rilke, or any book written by Huxley, as well as Samuel R. Delany's "Einstein's Intersection," Thich Nhat Hanh's "Peace is Every Step," Carl Jung's "Red Book," Dicken's "Tale of Two Cities," and so much more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Red Rocks, Explosions in the Sky, it was amazing!

Teach, Learn, Share

What I want to learn?

Everything. Or at least everything that will benefit existence. Everyone has something to teach because everyone has a knowing all their own, whether it's street smarts or quantum mechanics, every interaction is an opportunity for the universe to teach us.

What I can teach:

I'm a Life Coach and Hypnotist and can really do well working with people on behavioral change.

People with lifelong anxiety and panic attacks have overcome their anxiety in a matter of weeks working with me. Others with bipolar or depression have been able to stabilize their lives and minds in ways they never thought possible.

I used to be really shy talking about all this but I'm seeing just how well it works and I am loving it because it is changing the world one life at a time!
