ABOUT ME

My name is Joshua Edelmayer and I love to travel and meet people from around the world. Couchsurfing is the best way to truly connect with a culture. I have a wonderful baby boy that I take care of frequently. I firmly believe the Couchsurfing community is trustworthy but I’m going to refrain from hosting when I have him.

PHILOSOPHY

-Don’t look for happiness, create it.

-Perspective is reality. Thoughts create reality.

-Karma is a boomerang.

-The laws of attraction are as real as gravity.

-One cannot expand his or her mind vegetating on a small corner of the earth.

-Live like you will die tomorrow and dream like you will live forever.

-When it comes to the jingle of a jade pendant, or the sound of a rock growing in a mountain, I prefer the latter.

-I do not know with what weapons world war three will be fought with, but world war four will be fought with sticks and stones.

I just bought a home in Sarasota, FL. I am looking forward to giving back to the couchsurfing community after so much surfing so hit me up!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted some really good people... Had the pleasure of accidentally bumping into same crazy french guy in five different countries...Berlin Beach Camp...Kloden in 2007...Free Hugs...Went on nearly a year long surf spree across Europe... So many couches, so little time...

Interests

I love to Play with my son, learn, brainstorm on the whiteboard, skateboard, snowboard, longboard, mountainboard, snowskate, surfboard, play pool, go on adventures, play board games, watch the sun come up, hit the beach, and meet people.

I like terintino flicks, what the bleep do we know, waking life, gadjo dijo, fight club, and am interested in seeing more movies from different countries. I like all music except twangy country and bling bling rap. Lately I have been getting into books about finance and economics.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know many trades,and am happy to teach any of them. I enjoy deep conversations. I can teach how to ride almost anything that is a board. I want to learn how to salsa dance, any survival methods, massage therapy, cultures of the world, and basically anything you can share in the way of knowledge.
