Overview
About Me
I'm just a calm carefree vagabond living life to the fullest in spite of lack of privileges. Generally working in exchange for goods and services rather than currency, I'm looking to live in the gift economy as best as I can. Several years ago I figured out that I'm just not cut out to live in normal society as it is, so I do what little I can wherever I go. New places, people and experiences energize me paradoxically to my introverted nature. And I've found out that I'd rather sacrifice comfort than live in a single place without hope.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Normally I'd just find a discreet camping spot somewhere, but when I enter large metropolitan areas, those places are far and few between. I also want to understand what people are like in the places I visit, because they are as much a part of that locale as are the painted lines and walkways.
Interests
Generally I'm a big sci-fi nerd. I also do poetry, origami, play trumpet, social and environmental activism and I blog about my travels a little bit. turtlewrites.wordpress.com sttemit.com/@turtlewrites

I am a trained street medic, and have been pretty steeped in radical culture for the last couple years. Cryptocurrencies are shaping up to be a world changing affair. I like to cook, and I do many artsy things.
