About Me
CURRENT MISSION
The world is a book, and those who do not travel only read one page. I am trying to read the whole damn book.
ABOUT ME
-I grew up in Allentown, Pennsylvania...listen to the Billy Joel song, and you will know what it's all about.
-I moved to San Francisco for college, and that place opened my eyes to the world.
-In 2008 I studied in Beijing for one year and found out how amazing and interestingly complicated China really is.
-I moved to Wuhan last September and will be studying Mandarin at 华中科技大学 for two years.
-I love reading, drinking coffee, relax in comfort.
-I love sailing, more than most things in life... wind, water, waves...
-I enjoy snowboarding in the winter months
-I love studying contemporary Chinese history
-I love life
I love to learn and share new experiences with people. Right now, I am at that age where you just get out there and do everything that you can in hopes of learning and gaining valid experiences. I will be in China for two years, so if you are in Wuhan around then, no matter who you are, you are welcome to stand next to my fire.
PHILOSOPHY
Living the A-Dream....
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Anyone is welcome to come to my spot in Wuhan. I have an on-campus apartment at Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and it's a foreigners apartment so they hook you up pretty nicely. I have friends who couch surf a lot and they were surprised when I told them I didn't have an account.
