About Me

CURRENT MISSION

On a rat race...

ABOUT ME

I love different languages, travelling and seeing new things so much that I hardly ever reject the idea of exploring a different place. A friend just recently told me it's like I'm on a "rat race" to see the world. I think he's right. :) Whether I go alone or with a group of friends, family or students, it's always a relief to break up the daily routine. I also love music, since I grew up in a house where everyone played an instrument or sang or both. (listening to Beck right now.) I play the guitar, the bongos, and I also like to sing.

I also love exercising, both going to the gym and running, watching sports, fishing and just being outdoors.

I'm very open, willing and ready to talk to anyone about just about anything, especially about something that's completely new and unique.

PHILOSOPHY

Show honesty and kindness towards others different from you...because everyone's different.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like meeting new people and hearing their stories. I'm also looking to maybe couchsurf when I backpack South and Central America.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted two great people from Portland, Oregon (Aaron and Grace) for two days while they were in Barcelona, Spain in July, 2009, in my flat I rented. They were a lot of fun...we found ourselves drinking warm beer on a park bench at 10:00am...I suppose you had to be there. :)
Although I wasn't a couchsurfer then, they told me how they'd heard of couchsurfing.org...so I'll count this as my first unofficial couchsurfing experience.

Interests

LOTS of things...life is too short to stand on the sidelines (although I did do this when I was in Pamplona, Spain, with the bulls...sorry, no life-threatening activities for me) :)
