About Me
In Ecuador with my band! I love to teach English and make music! I have spent the last 6 or so years traveling and teaching and learning. I am still out here traveling the world, excited to continue to meet incredible new people; lets hang out!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Although this answer feels simple, I'm just genuinely hoping to meet people while traveling through their area, as I continue traveling around the world.
I was lucky enough to have my own place when I was living in Armenia and a friend encouraged me to become a host. Before I could even sign up, a traveler who is now a dear friend (Michal) from České Budějovice found himself on the same bus with me back to town one day. He was planning on sleeping on the ground with imminent storms on the horizon! I convinced him to stay with me and the rest is history. That initial hosting experience was filled with so much laughter and exchange that I knew I had to become part of the bigger picture.
I am so grateful for this platform and the opportunities I've been given through people opening their homes to me. I have learned so much about people's kindness and hospitality all over the world, and I know best that comes in all shapes and sizes.
I'm hoping to help anyone I can as I pass through their town, and I hope I'm able to share whatever is necessary to continue the fun and prosperous experience that CouchSurfing has always been for me. If all you have is some tea, that's great. If i can stay for a spell, even better. And if you want to just wish me luck on my journey, it'll mean more to me than you'll ever know.
Peace.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Completely uprooted my life to teach English in a foreign country for 27 months.
Teach, Learn, Share
-Currently teaching English and able to help with anyone continuing to learn -usually cook all of my meals, so anyone who enjoys learning new recipes is more than willing to help and learn.
-I always travel with a couple of books, that i feel like are important to me on the particular part of my current journey. If you'd like to hear my story, and can suggest or offer any other literature that you may see as helpful, i welcome the exchange.
-I’m currently working on a podcast that consists of a range of topics both old and new. I will probably ask you to share a story or two if you don’t mind and record it for documentation purposes. I really hope to hear everything about your life and what you’ve seen!
What I Can Share with Hosts
-perhaps a trinket or gift of some sort from wherever I am traveling from.
-I love to cook (including picking up ingredients and trying new recipes), as well as clean and do any other kind of tasks to help out; this is no joke. When you travel and hear people's stories, a few things remain constant. One is that there is always a way to help. If I'm only going to be staying for a short while, PUT ME TO WORK hahaha. Seriously though, I've waited for cable guys and chopped wood, I've enjoyed it all. -

I am an amateur Dungeon Master and if you (and some friends) wanted to we could play a session of Dungeons & Dragons while I stay. It's usually a big hit with hosts, so if you're a first timer it's a great way to have fun and enjoy some time together.
