ABOUT ME

I'm a 26 year old dude living in Christchurch planning the next adventure. My goals have broadened and want to travel more now that I've caught the bug.

Currently going through another period of self discovery (it's continuous really)

PHILOSOPHY

Take each day as it comes. I would like to get back into outdoor instructing and facilitation. I feel that people learn a lot in the outdoors about themselves and working with others. Being challenged and learning how to deal with things. I live my life for making people happy and educating them. I get a real buzz of showing someone something new or enlightening them about something. The reaction, the gratitude and the satisfaction I get from that.

Interests

I like drinking coffee, traveling, learning other peoples stories and also creating my own. I also like to hike, get away from the city when I can and read books. Been watching a lot of YouTube as the current content on TV is rubbish. I like going to the movies.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have read a lot of biographies of motorsport drivers, multisporters and mountaineers. These people inspire me. For a bit of a change I'm currently reading The Hitchhickers Guide to the Galaxy series by Douglas Adams.

I can't live without my music. I was first into rock/metal but have embraced electronica, dub step and a few other genres. Pretty easy to please these days.

I like actions movies, comedies and action comedies. Cool Runnings, Rush Hour, Iron Man, The Hangover just to name a few.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have done an Outward Bound course. Best three weeks of my life so far! A place to center you, a place to teach you things about yourself and a place to learn some awesome outdoor hard skills.

Skydive in Switzerland! It has shown me another vice to get my adrenaline kick.

Hiring a race car to drive around the Nurburgring in Germany. Definatly eye opening.

I'm pretty well schooled in Kiwi culture. BBQ's, chilling, going for walks and swimming.

I am open to learning anything new. A language would be awesome. Also do's and don'ts of travel overseas.
