Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I find it a better experience to get to know a place by getting to know a local host. I get to see the reality! I have been traveling for about a year now. I am working on my latest project that lets me travel and experience places I have only dreamed about such as New Orleans, and Washington DC,( where I am currently at. I am caring for a great lady's home and awesome dog in exchange and prior to that, I was House Mom for a great little boutique hostel in New Orleans) Would be willing to do this for anybody. I am and have always been drug/alchol free. I am very drama free also. (Retired single mother of a wonderful autistic young adult who now lives on his own.)
