My first trip abroad was in 2015 at 29 years old. I may have started a bit late, but have no intention of slowing down. The travel bug has bitten. Hard.

Ensine, Aprenda, Compartilhe

A year ago I would have laughed if you told me I could happily survive off only the things I could carry on my back. I believe my traveling experiences will continue to inspire and influence me long after its end. If there's any advice I can share it's to travel as much as you can. Immerse yourself in other cultures. Take your kids; start 'em young. Talk to strangers. Listen to their stories and share yours. Learn from one another. Take pictures and write down the memories because they can be easy to forget. Try things outside of your comfort zone. Challenge yourself and celebrate even the smallest victories. Finally, keep on keeping on. As scary as I thought traveling the world alone would be, it was comforting knowing that everyone I met along the way was inevitably the same as I... living one day at a time, giving it their all and simply hoping for the best. Cheers to the many more adventures that follow.
