Overview
About Me
I'm pretty relaxed, creative and interested. Generally quite chatty but can be a bit more reserved at times or in big groups. From bath I'm now (I between trips) living in Bristol, I studied illustration and am practicing as a print maker, with a waitressing job to keep the funds coming in.
I am interested in different people, cultures, languages and ways of life. I love cooking, music, printing and exploring.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've had a profile for ages and keep meaning to get it set up properly. This time I'm going for it.
I'm on here looking for a place to stay in other countries where I can get an 'insiders' view of the place.I'm hoping to meet new people, improve my languages and share experiences and knowledge.
I also want to be able to show people around where I am from, to repay the favour and give people a good place to stay in Bristol (when I'm there)
Interests
Travel is a big one for me, I enjoy meeting new people and sharing stories and cultures. But also I love the landscapes. Mountains, lakes, everything like that. I recently discovered I'm a 'walker' (beginner) and have seen even more.
I'm creative and love printmaking and design. I can get a bit over excited about inks or paper sometimes and enjoy different arts.
I love food. Cooking and eating!! I'm vegetarian and really enjoy finding different flavours and making tasty meals.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music; a massive jumble of music, I like a lot of chilled out stuff, hip hop, reggae, something with a good beat, stuff like cinematic orchestra, quantic, fat Freddie's drop, blackalicious, the roots, andreya triana
Movies; not really a 'film buff' but I do enjoy a good film, I like something you have to think about a bit, a good comedy and something with a bit of drama. I really enjoy Wes Anderson.
Books; I enjoy books which are set in different parts of the world, such as a thousand splendid suns, or sea of poppies. Where you learn new things without really realising.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the best things I've done was the 'W trek' in chile, the Torres del Paine. It was stunning, five days of trekking and camping. My first ever trek and it was brilliant. Pushed me a lot but all worth it.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach English, cooking, print/art related things.
I am trying to learn Spanish and french at the moment.
I would like to learn more crafts, ceramics, weaving etc.
And to share stories, food, places and laughter.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Food, I'm more than happy to cook. Languages, stories, music and crafts.
