ABOUT ME

I'm a Malaysian who used to live in the city of Manchester. I have since moved back home and am currently training to qualify as a lawyer in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I'm always looking for experiences and things to inspire the wannabe writer in me.

I also have a flair for being random and cracking lame jokes. I love a good read, dance, theatre, the outdoors, tea and huge helpings of laughter at any given time of the day. That said, I also love good food - let's be real, who doesn't? As Elbert Hubbard eloquently put it; "Don't take life too seriously; you'll never get out of it alive."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I need to visit Europe. STAT! Other than that, I am keen to explore places, learn history & meet people from all over the world. I believe there's always something one can offer to each person they meet in this lifetime :)

Music, Movies, and Books

My music taste is pretty eclectic: pop, acoustic, alternative, rock, R&B, jazz, some indie and a dash of classical. Not a big fan of metal or trance/house though.

I love books! A bookworm/literature geek, I'm always looking for a good read. Currently hooked on Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides. Gonna start on some classics next. I usually read fiction *alsoaclosetromantic* but I'm venturing into more non-fiction books this year.

As for movies, I like a bit of everything: action, adventure, animation/anime, comedy, drama, fantasy, musicals, sci-fi, etc. The only genre I stay away from is horror. It freaks me out big time.
