About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live and love

ABOUT ME

MFL student (French & Mandarin), lover of comedy, TV, vegetables, travel, big earrings and wine.

Studied in Toulouse, France, from January 2014-June 2014, where I met some of my now closest friends and travel partners, who I had the chance to visit a lot of places in France, Barcelona and all around Morocco with! Toulouse is a wonderful city and I hope to return one day.

From September 2013-January 2014 I lived and studied in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province, China. That was an incredible experience, I met many cool people and travelled a little bit in China. That was the first time I lived abroad and it was wonderful! That's how my love of travel really began :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed three couches, although two times were not through couchsurfing. Once in Madrid, Spain, back in summer 2011, and in Paris, France in summer 2013. Then in March 2014 I surfed with a group of friends in Barcelona, Spain. Every time has been a fun and positive experience! Hoping I can meet many more cool people and visit amazing places through CS!

Interests

I love learning foreign languages, so alongside French & Mandarin I'm also trying to learn Spanish. I am interested in feminism, veganism, comedy, music, and travelling on the cheap!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Visiting Shanghai alone in November 2013. My Chinese level was not great and I didn't really make any plans until I arrived there, and the city was big and confusing. But I really loved it and took lots of time to explore. It's the first time I really travelled by myself and taught me that I'm very capable of doing big things alone, that I don't always need to rely on other people to do things I really want with me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I speak English as my mother tongue, French to a good level and Mandarin Chinese at an intermediate level, so I guess I can help out beginners with any questions they may have about English or French.
