About Me

In between Eating popcorn in the cinema (where I work) and making some videos for my studies I travel as much as I can. I sometimes need to be out this formal system that I feel like I'm living in, meeting people from other cultures, seeing that what I perceive as normal is not as normal as I think it is. I Like to be on the road, usually in a slow pace. I don't have to see all the main sightseeings, my favourite things are finding some local bars with live music or a jam, or to go hiking in the mountains and making long walks. I just did a trip in the Balkans, where I went from my temporary house in Budapest towards a friend that lives in Athens, Greece. Now I'm back to studying at my last year in the art academy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Standing on top of a mountain after hours of weeping away the sweat from my forehead, and then running down. Or rolling down

Teach, Learn, Share

The best thing I have learned so far by meeting people from different countries, is the difference in generosity in between certain regions and countries. I am trying to shake off my Dutch and Northen-European habbits (sorry guys, you have to leave now because it is 6:00 PM and I am going to eat)
I guess every aspect of life would be so much better if we share whatever we have. That is also why I think that the concept of couchsurfing is great.
Thing is, there is enough of everything, it is just not always in the right places.
